Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions he could be lured away from Highbury by the vacancy at Barcelona created by Louis van Gaal's departure.
The Frenchman signed a three-year extension to his current deal at Arsenal last season and he vowed again that he would see it out.
"I expect myself to be with Arsenal for the whole of my contract. I decided to stay here and that was because I had made a choice and I'm committed to this club."
"I haven't been offered the job at Barcelona and I didn't even know van Gaal wasn't working there any more. I don't even have to say 'no' as I haven't been contacted. But I'm staying here."
Dutchman van Gaal paid the price for Barcelona's poor Spanish league form today when he left one of the most highly prized jobs in football after only eight months of his second spell in charge of the famous Catalan club.
Barcelona have won all 10 of their Champions League matches this season but their league form has been nothing short of abysmal with fans and officials alike furious that their team are 20 points adrift of Liga leaders Real Sociedad.
