DUBLIN

DUBLIN

The ESB will be carrying out cable laying works on South Circular Road (Harcourt Road), between Dolphin Avenue and Harrington Street, until further notice. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in either direction between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Major delays are expected.

Liffey Street Lower is closed at Middle Abbey Street to facilitate Luas works. Diversions are signposted via Bachelors' Walk, O'Connell Street and Middle Abbey Street. Chancery Street is closed between Greek Street and Church Street.

The Davitt Road (Grand Canal) is closed to inbound traffic and will be one way out of town from Suir Bridge to Naas Road junction. Traffic will not be able to access the Grand Canal route from the Naas Road. Inbound traffic from the M50 should go via Lucan Road or divert via Longmile Road from the Naas Road.

Sean Heuston Bridge will be closed until April 29th next year for Luas works. Traffic will be diverted via Wolfe Tone Quay, Sarsfield Quay, Rory O'More Bridge and Victoria Quay.

OFFALY

Pipeline work will be ongoing on the N62 through Ferbane until further notice. Traffic is being diverted via Tullamore southbound and long delays are expected.

KILKENNY

Construction work continues on the Pilltown-Fiddown bypass on the N24 between Waterford and Carrick-on-Suir. Expect delays.

CORK

Roadworks and single-lane traffic will start in both directions on Skehard Road near the junction with Lough Mahon Technology Park until November. Delays may result. Roadworks are in place on the N78 between Kildorrey and Mitchelstown until October 8th.

Disruption is likely on the N25 between Midleton and Castlemartyr for Bord Gβs works until the end of October.

Roadworks will continue on the N28 between Shanbally and Ringaskiddy until November.

Anybody taking the ferry from Ringaskiddy has been advised to leave plenty of time for the journey as there could be delays.

CLARE

Roadworks will be in operation until at least the end of the year on the N18 at the new Dromoland interchange. Delays are likely.

LIMERICK

Roadworks are in place on North Circular Road at the Celecian Convent for the next few weeks. Major delays are expected coming from the Clare side.
