Drivers are advised to be cautious at the Lucan road exit of the M50 where a concrete bollard has been erected to facilitate roadworks for the next six weeks.

Ross Road between Nicholas Street and Werburgh Street will remain closed until February 6th.

Francis Street will be closed between Thomas Street and Swifts Alley from tomorrow morning to Monday evening.

Cork

Washington Street is closed from its junction with Grand Parade to its junction with Courthouse Street for a week. South Main Street is also closed from Liberty street to Washington Street.

Iarnrod Eireann

Due to track improvement works on the Kerry line, buses will operate between Tralee and Mallow on weekdays and on some weekends until midMarch. Passengers travelling between Tralee and Banteer to Dublin, Cork or Limerick should note that bus transfers will be leaving 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled train from these stations.

Access between Connolly intercity and suburban stations will be via Amiens Street while the underpass is closed.

Bus Eireann

Special bus services will operate from Busaras to Naas racecourse tomorrow and Fairyhouse racecourse on Sunday. Buses depart 90 minutes before the first race. Tickets can be bought in advance. More information at 8366111.

Dublin Bus

The Nitelink service will operate every hour from Thursday to Saturday from 12.30 a.m. and 3.30 a.m.

Aer Rianta

Passenger numbers through Dublin Airport this weekend are expected to exceed 126,000. Passengers are advised to allow sufficient time to comply with airline check-in regulations.

Road Deaths

There were two deaths on Irish roads in the past week. This brings the number of road deaths this year to 12.
