Dublin

The Stillorgan "Quality Bus Corridor" becomes operational next Monday. An extra 20 buses have been added to the route. There will be special bus priority traffic signals for 10 km from Foxrock to St Stephen's Green. Tailbacks expected in Donnybrook Village with traffic reduced to one lane in either direction. Right hand turns for traffic heading from Donnybrook into the city have been restricted.

Custom House Quay closed Sunday from 8 a.m until 8 p.m for street festival.

Phoenix Park closed to traffic between 6 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday for motor races.

Cork

Roadworks on outbound carriageway of South Link Road from Old Station Road to junction with the Kinsale Road Roundabout.

Convent Road is closed at junction with Blackrock Road and Rope Walk.

Limerick

Howleys Quay, Harveys Quay and Honans Quay will be closed to northbound traffic. Local diversions signposted.

Laois

N8 in Abbeyleix roadworks. Traffic divert by N7 Portlaoise bypass to Durrow to rejoin N8. Stradbally Road closed for gas works between Bloomfield Cross and Portlaoise.

Waterford

Sallypark side of main road into Waterford at Rice Bridge is closed. Traffic diverted along Golf Links Road and Rockshire Road.

Travel

Aer Rianta expects passengers to exceed 184,000 this weekend. Passengers should allow sufficient time to reach the airport. Iarnrod Eireann tickets from Cork to Dublin for Sunday match have been sold out. Few tickets remain for Mayo to Dublin train and must be purchased in advance.

Road Deaths

A total of 264 people have been killed in road accidents so far this year, with 10 deaths in the week up to Wednesday night.
