Dublin

Dublin

Leopardstown Road and Newtown Park Avenue will be closed at White's Cross until next Tuesday. There will also be single-lane traffic on the N11 inbound until 4 p.m. during the same period. Avoid the area.

Charlemont Street will be reduced to one lane due to major drainage works.

The Rowan Road slip road to and from Balbriggan is closed. Motorists are advised to use the Naul interchange on the new Balbriggan bypass.

There will be roadworks on the Bray Road outbound at the Belfield flyover between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. until mid-November.

Between 9.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. each day until November 13th, Strand Road and Beach Road in Sandymount will be closed to inbound traffic. Henry Street will be closed until November 13th. Resurfacing is taking place at North Strand Road and Cablelink is working on North King Street while work will continue on Amiens Street on the bus corridor as far as Fairview.

Work on the Drumcondra Road means drivers heading to the airport should allow additional time.

Limerick

Due to structural work on the railway bridge at Oola, on the N24, there is single-lane traffic for the next two months.

Roadworks are being carried out on the N7 Limerick/Dublin Road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for the next five months with single-lane traffic between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturday.

There are roadworks at Hassett's Cross with a signposted diversion in place.

Cork

There will be single-lane traffic on the Lower Glanmire Road outbound for the next few weeks from Water Street to Beales Hill.

A section of South Main Street between Liberty Street and Washington Street has been reopened but will be single lane for the next two weeks.

Kyle Street is closed for repaving until Saturday.

Waterford

Roadworks and temporary traffic lights are in place on the main Dungarvan Road, at Pike Hill. The works will continue for three weeks from 7.45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Roadworks are continuing at Farran Park and Michael Street is closed.

Meath

For the next two months there will be extensive roadworks on the N3 Navan Road for one mile south of Dunshaughlin. There will be severe delays.

Louth

There are delays on the N2 through Collon village and on the N53 Dundalk to Castleblayney road at Hackballscross due to resurfacing.

Roscommon

Traffic on the N4 is being diverted on to the new road over the Curlew Mountains. Traffic is being diverted north of Boyle town and there are temporary traffic lights. The Curlew mountain bypass is now partially opened.

Monaghan

The N2 is closed between Annyalla and Clontibret.

Rail Information

A refurbishment of Connolly Station in Dublin is under way until mid-1999. The ramp access and exit beside the Financial Service Centre is closed as are the escalator and steps opposite Talbot Street.
