Dublin
Part of the Lower Lucan Road, between Anna Liffey/Woodwall Road and the Liffey Bridge/Barnhill Cross Road, is closed for pipelaying until the end of the month. Resurfacing of the N11 from Nutley Lane to White's Cross will continue for the next 10 weeks.
Road reconstruction is under way on Taney Road at the junction with Upper Churchtown Road. Johnstown Road in Cabinteely will undergo work between Pottery Road and the N11.
Limerick
There are roadworks on the N7 (Limerick-Dublin Road) from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for the next seven months, with single line traffic.
Kildare
Shaw Bridge in Kilcock is closed to heavy commercial vehicles until the end of August.
Kilkenny
There is resurfacing work at Woodquarter; traffic controls in place for the next two weeks on the N9, from Paulstown to Gowran Road.
Waterford
Williamstown Road is single lane from Farran Park to St Catherine's Grange for two weeks for road improvements.
Galway
There are new traffic lights on the Headford Road at the roundabout.
Cork
Until September 4th the South Link Road will be closed with inbound traffic diverted onto the outward carriageway. On Saturdays, people going to Ringaskiddy for the Brittany Ferries 15.30 Roscoff sailing, should allow extra time because of roadworks on South Link Road.
Meath
Roadworks in Clonee village will continue for the next four weeks. For the next four months, there will also be extensive work on the N3 Navan Road a mile south of Dunshaughlin.
The Kentstown, Navan Road, R153 is closed to through traffic for the next six months from its junction with the Boyne Road, Navan to its junction with Casey's Cross. Alternative routes will be signposted.
Westmeath
There is reconstruction work underway at the Canal Bridge at the junction of the Dublin Road, N4 and the Delvin Road for the next seven months. An alternative route is signposted. Heavy goods vehicle cannot use this bridge for nine weeks.
Leitrim
There are realignment works on the N1 Sligo to Enniskillen Road about four miles west of Manorhamilton until the end of the year.
Roscommon
Traffic on the N4 Dublin-Sligo is diverted onto the new road over the Curlew Mountain. Traffic is diverted north of Boyle town.
Donegal As part of the work on the Donegal by-pass temporary traffic lights have been introduced on the N15 just north of Donegal town.
Cavan
The Cootehill Road has a diversion for the next month.

Road deaths
Seven people have died in road accidents in the past week, bringing the number of people killed this month to 11. A total of 260 people have been killed on the roads so far this year.
