There are roadworks from Sallymount to Daly's Cross and at Hassetts Cross. There is no through road from Athlunkard Street to Baal's Bridge via Sir Harry's Mall.

A section of South Main Street is closed between Liberty Street and Washington Street. There are roadworks on the Bishopstown Road between the regional hospital and Bishopstown Road. A bridge collapse has closed the road between Lombardstown and Gortroe in Mallow.

Meath

The Kenstown-Navan Road is closed to through traffic for the next six months from the Boyne Road, Navan, to its junction with Casey's Cross.

Westmeath

Reconstruction work is under way at the Canal Bridge at the junction of the Dublin Road and the Delvin Road.

Leitrim

There are realignment works on the Sligo to Enniskillen road about four miles west of Manorhamilton.

Roscommon

Traffic on the Dublin to Sligo road is diverted to the new road over the Curlew mountains.

Donegal

Roadworks continue on the Ballybofey Road leading to Donegal town.

Louth

Shop Street in Drogheda is closed from its junction with Dyer Street to West Street.

Cavan

Cootehill Road has a diversion for the next month.

Monaghan

There will be resurfacing for the next four weeks between the Castleblayney and Carrickmacross road at Broomfield.

Road Deaths

Six people died on the roads this past week, bringing to 13 the number killed this month. So far this year, 223 people have died on the roads.
