The Catholic Primate, the Archbishop of Armagh, Dr Sean Brady, will be conducting the service of Our Lord's Passion at St Patrick's Church, Dundalk, today.
Tomorrow, he will conduct the Easter Vigil at St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh, at 9 p.m. and on Sunday he will celebrate Mass at St Malachy's Church, Armagh, at 10 am.
At Christchurch Cathedral, Choral Evensong and the Proclamation of the Cross will be held at 3.30 p.m. today. The Easter Vigil and Eucharist will be at 9 p.m. tomorrow and on Easter Sunday the Festival Sung Eucharist will be addressed by the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Rev Walton Empey.
Today at St Patrick's Cathedral, the Dean, the Very Rev Maurice Stewart, will conduct a one hour devotion.
On Sunday, the Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral will preach at the Festival Eucharist at 11.15 a.m. At 3.15 p.m., Easter music from Handel's Messiah will be celebrated at the cathedral.
Today, the Archbishop of Dublin, Dr Desmond Connell, will celebrate the Lord's Passion at St Michael's Dun Laoghaire. He will be the principal celebrant at a Holy Saturday Mass at 9.30 p.m. at the Pro Cathedral. On Sunday, an ecumenical service to greet the rising sun on Easter morning as a symbol of the Resurrection will be held at 6.40 a.m. in Killiney Park.
