Gardaí have issued a warning to parents in Sligo after two teenagers attending a party last night were taken to hospital.
About 30 youngsters aged between 13 and 16 were at the party in the woods in the Hazelwood area of the town.
Two 15-year-old boys were taken to Sligo General Hospital after becoming ill.
Gardaí said drugs taken at the party were believed to have been bought in a local shop in Sligo. The gardaí issued the alert in case other teens were also taken ill.
Gardai were alerted by ambulance staff, and the crowd at the party dispersed on the arrival of officers.
No arrests were made, and gardaí said their primary interest was the safety and well-being of anyone who may have been at the party.
The teens taken to hospital were released earlier today.
