Berlin - The trial of a Nazi era-doctor, Dr Heinrich Gross, has been stopped indefinitely in Vienna pending further examination to see if he really is fit to stand trial, writes Hannah Cleaver. This is expected to take at least six months, but by then Dr Goss may be unable to take part in the trial.
People waiting to see him testify, including relatives of victims and at least one Austrian deputy, said they were outraged at the failure of the court to proceed with the trial.
