Manchester United reserve goalkeeper Raimond van der Gouw has quit the club.
The 38-year-old arrived as an understudy to Peter Schmeichel in 1996 from Dutch first division side Vitesse Arnhem and played 61 times for United.
"Raimond has been a model of professionalism," said United manger Alex Ferguson.
"First in the shadow of Peter Schmeichel and then Fabien Barthez. I never heard him complain about being on the reserve list."
