A US-owned technology company is to create another 400 jobs in Northern Ireland as part of a €34 million expansion.
Northbrook Technology has shown major growth since setting up in the North in 1998 in the first wave of post-ceasefire investments by foreign companies.
It already employs 1,400 people across three locations, its Belfast headquarters and in Derry and Strabane, Co Tyrone.
The new software development jobs are expected to be divided between the Belfast and Derry plants. Northern Ireland's economic development agency, Invest NI, has provided £5.6 million aid towards the total investment.
Northbrook said the investment would enable it to significantly expand its software development function and take advantage of higher value market opportunities. The new jobs will inject almost £10 million a year in salaries into the local economy.
