A group of 13 people set out from Belfast yesterday to take part in the European March Against Unemployment, which is set to arrive in Amsterdam on June 14th. They travelled to Dundalk where they were met by a local trades council. They will be joined by other unemployed people from Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny at various stop off points before they leave. They are also due to meet "the President, Mrs Robinson.
Up to 40,000 marchers are expected to converge in Amsterdam for a mass rally coinciding with the closing of the "InterGovernmental Conference.
