UL Bohs see off Buccaneers challenge
UL Bohemians eased away from the bottom of the table thanks to a narrow 10-8 victory over Buccaneers at Thomond Park this afternoon.
In the All-Ireland League's only top-flight match today, the Limerick students claimed the spoils to register just their second win of the fledgling season and move away from the danger zone at this early stage.
In Division Two, the freezing conditions claimed many of the fixtures but couldn't prevent pacesetters Dolphin extending their advantage at the top to three points.
The Cork club safely dispatched challengers Midleton 16-6 and with Bective's tie against Trinity falling foul of the weather, Old Crescent climbed into second with a win away at Young Munster.
Elsewhere, just four ties survived in Division Three and with leaders Waterpark out of commission, Corninthians closed the gap at the top to just one point.
