The brother of newly-wed British hairdresser Chanel Taylor, who was shot dead in her home before their father disappeared, has appealed to him to contact police and end their "nightmare".
In a statement at Nottinghamshire Police headquarters, Mr Colt Rodgers (19) said: "Over the past few days our lives have been turned upside down. Chanel's death has left so many unanswered questions."
Urging his 55-year-old father Mr Terry Rodgers to get in touch, he said: "Dad, we need your help to make sense of this nightmare.
"I am trying to be strong, especially for Mum, but we are all devastated. We've always been close, it was only the other week we were all together sharing Chanel's big day.
"If you are watching or listening, we need you to come forward for Chanel's sake and yours."
Mr Terry Rodgers has not been seen since Chanel was found with a shotgun wound to the head by her new husband last week.
Mr Rodgers, who was said to be possessive of his daughter, had given her away at her wedding just seven weeks before.
Mrs Taylor (23), had recently moved in with her husband, 22-year-old Mr Lee Taylor, to the terraced house in Huthwaite, north Nottinghamshire.
He discovered her body in the house at around 1 p.m. on Friday and said he was still struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.
