Twelve teenagers have been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy fatally stabbed at a central London Tube station during the afternoon rush hour, police said today.

The boy, Sofyen Belamouadden, from Acton in west London, was stabbed at the booking office at Victoria London Underground station on Thursday and died shortly afterwards.

The 12, all boys aged between 16 and 17, were arrested around the station.

Police released on bail seven other youths aged between 15 and 17 who had been arrested over the stabbing.
