The two suspects held in connection with the recent murders of three Irishmen in the Netherlands have been remanded in continuing custody. Both men, whose identities have not been released by the authorities but who are Dutch and in their 20s, were arrested during a 20-strong police investigation.
They have been remanded to appear before a three-judge closed court next Wednesday. "Further arrests may follow," said Ms Kitty Nooy, spokeswoman for the Public Prosecutor's office in The Hague yesterday.
The mutilated bodies of Mr Damien Monahan (24), of Ennis, Co Clare, and brothers Vincent (29) and Morgan (21) Costello, Bansha, Co Tipperary, were discovered in the seaside resort of Scheveningen on April 29th.
