Two men have been detained for questioning after a teenage girl received severe burns in a Limerick house fire. The girl's mother and two other children escaped the blaze, but the house, in O'Malley Park, Southill, was badly damaged. The fire broke out at about 4.30 a.m. on Saturday.
The 14-year-old girl received severe leg burns and was rushed to the specialist burns unit at Cork University Hospital from Limerick Regional Hospital.
