ANOTHER two men were taken in for questioning by gardai yesterday in connection with the double robbery on a pair of elderly Aughrim brothers.
Mr Andy Kingston (77), who lives in a remote farm house at Killballyowen, near Aughrim, with his older brother, Tom (79), was shot in the knee during the second robbery on October 12th.
The latest arrests in the garda investigation took place in the west Wicklow area yesterday morning. The men, one in his late 30s and the other in his 20s, were arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and brought to Wicklow Garda Station for questioning.
Three local men have already appeared in court charged with robbing Mr Andy Kingston of £9,600 at Killballyowen on October 8th last.
