TWO men died in road accidents at the weekend in Meath and Donegal. Another man died when the car in which he was a passenger collided with another car at Carndonagh, Co Donegal, at around 1.45 a.m. on Sunday.
The name of the dead man, who lived locally, was not released until relatives were informed.
Three other men were injured in the accident. One was "very seriously ill" in Altnagalvin Hospital, Derry, and another was "stable". The condition of the third man, who is being treated in Letterkenny General Hospital, was also described as "stable".
Mr Leslie Crinion (24), from Slane, Co Meath, died when the car in which he was a passenger, overturned on the Navan Road at about 1.15 a.m. on Saturday. No other vehicle was involved. There were no other injuries.
