Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two men in connection with the seizure of drugs and weapons last night.
Officers from the Kilmainham Drugs Unit recovered heroin with an estimated street value of €10,000 in a planned search in the south inner city.
A sawn-off double-barrelled shotgun and a number of cartridges were found in a follow-up search.
The two suspects, both in their thirties, are being held at Kilmainham Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
