Two men in their twenties are in custody following the seizure of an estimated 20kg of cannabis in Dublin last night.
The men, aged 22 and 28, were arrested after gardai seized cannabis pollen with an estimated street value of €250,000 during the search of a warehouse in Beaumont at 8.00pm last night.
The search was carried out as part of an operation targeting organised crime in the northern Dublin division.
The intelligence-led operation was carried out by the organised crime unit supported by the garda national drugs unit.
The men are both being detained under the provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act and are being held at Santry and Swords garda stations.
