Two men were arrested in Co Wicklow yesterday following a seizure of four kilograms of cocaine.
A Garda spokesman said the drugs, worth around £400,000, were recovered following a surveillance operation.
They had been concealed in a remote forest area at Kilbride, Brittas, Co Wicklow.
One man was detained at Naas Garda station under the Drugs Trafficking Act.

The second man was taken to Naas Hospital. He had an accident after trying to escape on a motorcycle.
Both men are in their 20s.
