Two people have been killed and two others injured in a car crash in Connemara this afternoon.
Two men, aged 67 and 49, were killed when their car left the road in the Lettergesh East area of north Connemara at 12.15pm today.
Two other occupants of the car, both women, suffered injuries and were taken to University College Hospital Galway. Their injuries are not thought to be critical.
Gardai in Clifden have appealed to anyone who was in the Lettergesh area between 11am and 1pm to contact them on 095 22500.
