Two people remain in critical condition in hospital today following separate crashes yesterday morning.
A male passenger in a car that collided with a lorry at Cloonad, near Portlaoise, Co Laois, yesterday morning has been transferred to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
The three other passengers were also taken to hospital, as was the lorry driver.
A women (29) who was injured in a single-vehicle crash outside Tuam, Co Galway, yesterday has been moved from University College Hospital in Galway to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
