London - Two children died when a blaze swept through their grandparents' home just two days before Christmas.
Ashley Scott, four, and her three-year old brother, William, were rushed to hospital but later pronounced dead following the house fire near Glasgow.
Their grandfather, Mr Peter Morrison (55) was last night in a "critical" condition at Wishaw General Hospital while his wife, Isla (53), was in Monklands District Hospital, Airdrie, where her condition was described as "serious but stable".
