Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the death of a man who was hit by a stolen car in west Belfast yesterday morning.
A police spokesman said a 19-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, taking and driving away a vehicle, and arson. A 16-year-old is charged with allowing himself to be carried in a stolen vehicle and arson.
The two teenagers will appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court this morning.
A Vauxhall Corsa had been reported stolen from Fitzwilliam Street in the University area at about 10 p.m on Saturday night. Kieran Conlon (21), from Dungloe Crescent, Lenadoon, was leaving a nightclub in Stewartstown Road when the car ran into him. He later died at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
