A Dublin truck driver charged with importing an estimated £200,000 worth of heroin into Ireland last week was further remanded by the Dublin District Court yesterday.
Mr William Hegarty (42), of Ayrfield Drive, Coolock, Dublin, is charged with importing the drugs for supply at the Stena Depot, Dublin Port, on November 25th last.
Judge William Hamill remanded Mr Hegarty on £2,000 bail to appear again before the court on February 26th when the DPP's directions on the case will be given.
