Irish billing and encryption software company Trintech said todayfirst-quarter revenue nearly doubled to $17 million on the back of a strong rise in software licence sales.
Trintech shares were trading up 6.4 per cent at euro 3.35 today at 7.40 a.m. on the Neuer Markt, which was down 0.17 per cent. The shares hit a year low of euro 1.90 on April 3rd.
Solid demand drove Trintech's software licence revenue up by 83 per cent to $7.6 million, the company said.
Operating costs remained quite flat even though the first quarter was the first time that recently aquired businesses had been consolidated on a full-quarter basis, Trintech said.
