The Katy French case was back in court yesterday, but no date has yet been set for the trial of a man and a woman charged in connection with the model’s death almost five years ago.
Judge Michael O’Shea adjourned the case at Trim Circuit Court yesterday to next Tuesday for mention only following a request from prosecuting counsel Carl Hanahoe.
Kieran Ducie (42), Lambertstown Manor, Kilmessan, Co Meath, and Ann Corcoran (31), Tolka Road, Clonliffe Road, Dublin 3, face the same charges and have pleaded not guilty. The first charge alleges that between December 1st and 2nd, 2007, they conspired with persons not before the court to possess cocaine for the purpose of supply to another at the Statoil service station at Bracetown, Clonee, Co Meath.
The second charge alleges that they intentionally or recklessly engaged in conduct related to the supply of cocaine to Katy French and failure to get medical assistance in a timely fashion, which created a substantial risk of death or serious harm to another.
