Groupworld Travel Ltd, of Barrow Street, Dublin, has ceased trading. The company has advised the Department of Public Enterprise that it is unable to meet its obligations to customers with overseas travel contracts.
The Department has assured people who have made bookings with the company on or before June 22nd last that there are adequate funds available for them to take holidays as booked or obtain refunds. They should contact the Department and claims must be lodged within 60 days.
