The benefits and vicissitudes of modern tourism affect us all, and no one more so than the people of Kerry, whose tourism season is the longest of any county in the country. The citizens of the Dingle Peninsula are assessing what they can do to create sustainable tourism because they have organised a seminar entitled "Planning for Tourism" which will take place on Thursday, November 5th, in the Dingle Skellig Conference Centre. Local speakers from tourism and business will include the redoubtable Jackie Healy-Rae TD. All are welcome and the seminar begins at 7.30 p.m.
