London - Ibiza would not have enough prison space to hold the British tourists who got into trouble on the island if they were all arrested, according to the former British vice-consul there.
Mr Michael Birkett, who resigned two weeks ago in disgust at the "debauched" behaviour of British holiday-makers, told ITV's World in Action: "Tour operators who sell these package deals to youngsters should be made more responsible and held to account for what they are actually selling."
