The Labour Court will continue talks with both sides in the toll bridge dispute this weekend. This follows a decision by SIPTU workers to lift pickets for the duration of the talks.
The dispute between National Toll Roads and SIPTU centres on pay and working hours.
On Tuesday SIPTU asked the Irish Congress of Trade Unions for an all-out picket.
If the application succeeds unionised taxi drivers, local authority workers and trade union members could be asked not to pass the SIPTU picket.
This evening SIPTU Branch Secretary, Mr Michael Halpenny said "conciliation talks will begin at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow morning and if no agreement is reached, both parties will return to the Labour Court on Monday afternoon with a recommendation to be issued on Tuesday.
"Our members are resolute in their determination to continue their dispute until a fair settlement is achieved. However, in order to aid the conciliation process, and at the request of the Labour Court, the pickets at the East Link and West Link Toll Bridges will be rested for the duration of the talks," said Mr Halpenny," he said.
A statement from the Labour Court is expected later today.
