Three men were being questioned yesterday in connection with the shooting of a woman in Limerick.
The woman, in her 50s, was shot in the head on September 18th in a house at White Cross Avenue, Moyross, shortly after midnight. A number of windows in the house were also broken.
The men are aged between 18 and 25, and two of them are from Moyross. They were being held in Henry Street Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
A Garda spokesman said the victim was extremely lucky to have survived.
