Two men aged in their 20s were killed in a car crash in Co Tipperary last night

Two men aged in their 20s were killed in a car crash in Co Tipperary last night. A man also died tonight in a motorbike crash in the county.

The men were travelling in a car which crashed into a pole on the Roscrea Road (N62) just outside Templemore at about 11.55pm last night. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was earlier closed, pending a Garda forensic examination, but it has now reopened.

Elsewhere in the county, gardaí in Cahir are investigating an fatal incident in which a man died after his motorcyle hit a car.

The incident happened at 5.50pm this evening, and the man, in his early 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured in the collision.
