Three people have been killed in crashes on Irish roads in the past 24 hours.
A man in his early 20s was killed when the car he was travelling in crashed on the N22 at Macroom, Co Cork at about 6.30am. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car and another passenger, also in their 20s, were taken Cork University Hospital where their condition is not thought to be life threatening.
There were no other vehicles involved.

Meanwhile, a man (26) was killed yesterday afternoon when his motorcycle was involved in collision with a 4X4 at Kilcummney, Co Carlow.
The man’s body was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital for a postmortem examination.
At 9.00am yesterday, two cars collided on the N4 at Drumfin, Riverstown, Co Sligo. The driver of one of the cars – a woman in her 60s – was pronounced dead at scene.
A male passenger in her car and the female driver of the other car were injured and taken to Sligo General Hospital.
