An Israeli air strike targeted a car in Gaza City early today, killing three members of an armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement, medics and witnesses said.
The car was struck moments after an attack helicopter shot several missiles at the club, sending its members fleeing to the streets before the deadly missile struck the vehicle, which was also near a Gaza security headquarters.
An Israeli military official said "we staged an air attack against the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades after their continued rocket fire at Israeli towns".
The Israeli strikes came a day after a rocket hit an Israeli home wounding two people, including a baby.
