Gardaí have arrested two men (27 and 36) and a woman (28) in Roscommon Town this evening in relation to the armed robbery of a post office in the county yesterday morning.
The three are being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Roscommon Garda Station.
During the raid the owner of the post office and shop in Ballinlough, a man in his 40s, was held up by three masked raiders at 8.30am.
They tied him up and stole a sum of money.

“The alarm was raised when a member of staff came to work a short time later”, a Garda spokesman said.
No one was injured during incident. Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone with information to contact them on 094 9621630
