A suicide bomber blew up among a group of Israeli soldiers outside a Jewish settlement in the West Bank today, killing three people and wounding others, the settlement's mayor and rescue workers said.
Witnesses said the bomber blew up after soldiers who were eating at a food stand at a petrol station at the entrance of the settlement spotted him.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service said at least three people were killed and at least 20 wounded in the blast.
Last Monday, two teenage suicide bombers slammed an explosives-laden car into an Israeli bus in northern Israel, killing 14 people.
