Three teenagers are being questioned tonight by gardaí investigating a shooting at a house in west Dublin.

A shot was fired through the window of a house in Sheephill Avenue in Corduff at about 3.40am yesterday.

A woman who was alone in the house at the time was uninjured.

Gardaí stopped a car in the Blakestown Road shortly after the shooting and arrested two men and a woman, all of whom are aged 19.

They are being held at Blanchardstown Garda station.

A Garda spokesman said a sawn-off shotgun was later recovered during a follow-up search in an open area in Mulhuddart.
