Gardaí in Raheny are investigating a robbery at Kilbarrack post office this morning.
Two men entered the post office at about 11.40am and demanded money.
According to gardaí, one was armed with what is believed to be a handgun, and the other was armed with a knife and a hammer.
The thieves escaped with a sum of cash, and the Nissan 100x car they used was found abandoned on Beechbrook Grove.

There were two employees and two customers in the post office at the time. No shots fired, and no one was injured.
