Ah Jammet’s. People don’t seem to want to forget the French restaurant that was the epitome of chic in 1950s and 60s Dublin.

Perhaps it’s time for Jammet’s Two. Meanwhile, however, you can enjoy some old-style Dublin dining and music while helping an excellent cause at a black tie gala dinner at the Shelbourne Hotel next month. A tribute to Jammet’s on October 4th promises food from the original Jammet’s menu, music by Ryan Morgan and Suzanne Murphy, and Sen David Norris keeping everyone in order as MC. Proceeds will go to the Jack and Jill Foundation. Tickets are €95 from White Diamond Events.
