Terenure College 3 St Mary's 0
Terenure College were crowned Leinster Schools' Senior Cup champions after a low scoring final against St Mary's at Lansdowne Road this afternoon.
The only score of the game came from the boot of Terenure centre Gary Byrne after 50 minutes of stalemate.
The lowing scoring final was hardly a surprise as both sides earned their place in the showdown with impressive defensive records throughout the campaign.
North of the border RBAI claimed their 27th Renault Ulster Schools' title with a 23-10 victory over Wallace High School today.
Underdogs Wallace were building towards a major upset as they led 10-3 five minutes into the first half.
It served as a reminder for RBAI who stepped up a gear and put 20 points on the board without reply to confirm their status as favourites.
