Dubai, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Gulf Arab states are sending relief aid to Turkey to help alleviate the suffering of the victims.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) was sending a planeload of tents, blankets, foodstuffs and clothes, as well as specialists to help evaluate the damage, newspapers reported yesterday.
Saudi Arabia said late on Wednesday that it was donating two planeloads of food, carpets, tents, dates and medicine. Bahrain has also offered humanitarian aid.
