Tehran - A Tehran court has sentenced the leader of a gang found guilty of killing at least three truck drivers to have his eyes gouged out before he is taken to the gallows, newspapers reported yesterday. The court ordered the blinding of Majid Mehr-Parvar (30) in response to a request from the family of one of his victim's lodged in accordance with Iran's strict Islamic law of vengeance, the Qods daily said.

His three accomplices - Javad Mohammad-Zadeh (32), Mahmud Biabani (27) and his twin brother Hamid Reza Biabani - were also sentenced to be hanged, it said.
