Two men have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy at Tyrrelstown in Dublin last night.

Two men have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy at Tyrrelstown in Dublin last night.

An altercation is believed to have occurred at Boulevard Mount Eustace and at a location at Mount Garrett Rise, Tyrellstown shortly after 7pm last night between a number of people.

The victim, named locally as Toyosi Shittabey, was taken James Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The two men are currently being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
