A 15-year-old youth has died from injuries incurred when he fell through the roof of a derelict factory in Wexford town.

A 15-year-old youth has died from injuries incurred when he fell through the roof of a derelict factory in Wexford town.

The youth, who has not yet been named, was with two others on the roof of the empty factory building on Trinity Street in the town last Thursday evening.

He fell 15 feet through the asbestos roof of the building, landing on the concrete floor below. The teenager was later taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he died yesterday evening.
