As Ruairi Quinn's new Labour and Proinsias De Rossa's old DL embark on a voyage of ideological discovery, Dick Spring's former guru, Fergus Finlay, is paddling his canoe in the opposite direction. He is advising the TEAM Aer Lingus craftworkers on how best to sell their "not an inch" strategy to the public.
He certainly relishes a challenge - some maintain the craftworkers are more interested in industrial archaeology than the modern way forward in the workplace.
