"GUSTY" Spence, the man who announced the loyalist paramilitaries' ceasefire in October 1994, last night urged loyalist gunmen not to retaliate after the bombing.
He said "My message to the loyalist paramilitaries at this moment is for heaven's sake and for the sake of the people of the whole of Northern Ireland, hold anything that you may anticipate doing until such times as the situation becomes clear. I am down on my knees begging."
